Amex Membership rewards for Delta transfers


American Express has been ranked the number one company in terms of customer satisfaction for the year 2011, according to J.D. Power & Associates. It has got this recognition for the fifth successive year.
American Express Rewards program features many benefits to users of the frequent flyer program that cover almost all the major airlines in the US. The reward points are redeemable as free airline tickets for specific destinations. The points need to be redeemed during a certain period of the month, which is specified by the company.

There have not been any new developments this fall season. Delta airlines though, have had many promos in the month of September, which is quite rare.

Ø  Moreover, Delta recently announced a promotion for members of the American Express Rewards program .This entitles the user to a 15,000 points rebate for every 50,000 miles traversed through Delta Airlines. This works out to be a 30% rebate or 43% bonus.
Ø  The rebate points will be sent to the consumer electronically through email within 6 to 8 weeks following his registration in the promo. However, one should understand his requirements before exchanging valuable Amex points with Delta Sky Miles.

American Express Rewards program is entering an exciting phase with Amex announcing that Virgin America has joined its rewards program from October 5, 2011.

Amex cardholders enrolled in this program can now transfer points to Virgin America Elevated points and redeem for unsold seats in Virgin America flights without any blackout dates.

Ø  Virgin America now joins the elite club of 16 other airlines that form a part of American Express Rewards program.
